Best Jewellery Wearer Awards 2009

Jewelers must be doing well here despite the recession -- they can afford 7 "bestists".

Wow! Despite their titles as Best Jewelery Wearerists, the ladies in black should be getting something for the Worst Dresserist. Truly hideous. They remind me of a coupla car accidents I witnessed in the mid-80s.

Best jewelery wearer? how do they even judge this? is it independent of the jewelry? How are the different ways to wear jewelry? Finger? Nose? Eyelid? You'd think they'd have a couple of africans in there. I don't think others come close to them in jewelry wearing creativity.

On a side note, when these guys sign their contracts with their respective talento agencies, does it stipulate they'll have to do occasionall bestists advertising?

Love the girl on the left, she is shoe-in for "Best Boover Bootist." Moreover, looking at the clothing of some of the others (Mr. Yellow Suit), perhaps a little random drug testing is in order.

I would be willing to bet that some of the celebrities get tired of these stupid awards ceremonies as well, but don't want to risk the bad press they would get if they refused to attend.

I give up.
