Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima reacts after his speech during a presentation event for the new Nintendo Switch game console in Tokyo on Friday. The device has a removable screen that lets players dock it at home and also use it on the go like a tablet computer with detachable controllers on both sides. It uses cartridges rather than discs. So now we know who some of the game characters were modeled on.
I once went to the main Nintendo factory for work back in the late 80s. I was expecting to see some super illuminated entrance to a fantasy world. But it was as dull as heck. Meeting rooms coated with the standard veneer of Japanese factory offices of the time. I still enjoyed it though.
