"Blindness" stars Yoshino Kimura, left, Julianne Moore, and Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles are joined by former sumo star Oyakata Shibata to crack open a sake barrel at Roppongi Hills on Monday. "Blindness," which was shown at this week's Tokyo International Film Festival, opens in Japan on Nov 22. Yusuke Iseya, who also appears in the film, is behind Meirelles.

What about this photo exactly leads you to make this statement? I don't see much of anything in it much less awkwardness.

Did you look at their faces?

Yes. This is called "laughing". The two women on the left are laughing and the two men on the left are watching with smiles on their faces which suggests that they are are sharing in the humor. Therefore, there is nothing suggesting "awkwardness", which could have arisen if they failed to share the humor.

If you don't have anything to say about a photo there's no need to post something which makes no sense vis-a-vis the photo and the only value being that you can say something nasty about Japan. At the very least it ought to make sense and have relevance.

In looking at the picture before reading the bit on it. I noted this was again another attractive looking asian woman. So thumbs up for her and making the stage.

If she lost the grip on the hammer that would be fairly normal for it is not something a blind person handles frequently.

Good photo & most seem to be in good humor which is needed these days.
