I think this is a smashing photo ^^

Andy Roddick is a choker in big tournaments - his time has passed him by unfortunately. Apart from this pic, he always seems a gentleman though, unlike that tool Hewitt (who sadly is a countryman of mine).

Oh, I might have believed what you guys were saying until you said he was worse than Hewitt. Now it's just impossible to be a bigger tosser than him....
kansaifun
Maybe it's the lack of fans in attandance that is p#ss#ng him off..?

@pukey2: hmmm. Serena used a more abusive language. I guess Serena's outburst was worse since she got ejected out of the match :P But still, I really felt bad for the lineswoman who was just standing there listening to a-rod's tirade and couldn't answer back. She made the right call but got flustered when he asked about the foot that committed the fault fault. She answered him wrongly and he started berating her

Mighty man exerting power over soft and tiny ball, American Style !

takuyaki:
Was it is bad as that Serena meltdown?

If you say that Roddick is reasonably well-behaved lately, you probably did not watch his outburst at the US Open 2010 where he was berating a line judge for calling a foot fault. he was bullying her. andy may be funny off-court, but he is really annoying on-court with his high-handedness and complains about lots of things.

Roddick always well behaved ?? Mikans right, hes more a tosspot than Hewitt(these days).
Junnama
Roddick spoilt? He's always seemed reasonably well behaved to me. Now if this was lleyton hewitt... It would be no shock!!

Mindovermatter. Quite why you got so upset about this article is beyond me! No wait I get it you are another fabulously well misinformed statesman. For Your information the USA has never "GIVEN" any country anything; their help or aid always comes at a tremendous price! As for Roddick well I always thought he was a spoilt little tosspot.

hoserfella -- certainly not. But, why doesn't the caption mention that Roddick is #10 in the world, and has a U.S. Open crown to his credit? Plus three Wimbeldon finals? (Accomplishments no Japanese male player has ever come close to.) That's right, because that would be "impolite" to our hosts here, and it is far easier for JT to just take the easy way out, and let folks vent about how terrible and spoiled U.S. athletes are. Right?
Moderator: Wrong. It doesn't matter what his world ranking is or how many times he won Wimbledon or the U.S. Open. All that matters, for the purpose of discussion, is what he is doing in this photo.
chinabeachmoon
He was actually trying to kill a cockroach that scuttled across the court. Just look at the concentration on his face...
stormqueen
More like Riddick than Roddick..
hoserfella
mindovermatter- so because the US won the war, Americans in Japan are excused from acting like a horse's ass until the end of time?
Junnama
Andys izod shirt is nice, and he won the match :p
mindovermatter
WTF JT?
Do you have anything positive to say about the country that gave you everything... The right to publish such garbage... Do you think North Korea gave that you that freedom..? Was it China...?
Only from the mind of an 8-year old..... JT that is....
You're welcome JT...

Now, now, Andy, my father used to punish me severely when I threw a tantrum after losing a point. Be a good role model.
