What are those antiques they’re flying?…trainers ?

It's very common for precision flying teams to fly trainers - they don't need to fly at high speeds - it's an air-show - they are maneuverable - and responsive - that's why they're used as trainers - I think only the US flies F-18's (or used to fly F-18's) - which are carrier based combat planes - but I have seen them do aerobatics - and they are remarkable agile - I would not under-estimate Japan's fighter pilots based upon the fact that their precision flying team flies trainers - would you underestimate the RAF for the same reason?...few have gone up against the RAF without getting a bloody nose

The Kawasaki T-4 is a Japanese subsonic intermediate jet trainer aircraft developed and manufactured by the commercial conglomerate Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Its sole operator is the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), in part because of historic restrictions on the exporting of military hardware. Besides its primary training mission, the T-4 has been used by the JASDF's Blue Impulse aerobatic team and liaison duties with most fighter units.

Canada's aerobatic team uses Tudors - old but dependable (well, mostly). Nonetheless, air shows are cool. I've watched a new jet (can't remember the type) almost stand on its tail just over the tarmac and shoot straight up like a rocket. It's awesome what flight has become.
Sign me out as a former hang-glider instructor, because that was fun, too! So was flying my father's twin Cessna.

@WA4TKG The planes are for training. If you knew anything other than nothing you would know. Japan also use F-15 fighter planes.

@K3PO Is that all you are looking for? The article is about an airshow "airplanes" you just see women!

Same infamous 371 Blue Impulse that put Abe in hot water and now they come up with another one with the mark of the beast...

I found about those planes by using Wikipedia.
I can see No. 666, but where's No. 731?
