Nice, ive seen some great sakura pictures this year, loads of new places to visit. Shame everything will be gone after todays rain :(

Beautiful! I love cherry blossoms! Just a pity JT doesn't count with reporters (even freelancers) in the other beautiful areas of Japan, 99% of the images on Japan Today are from one city alone..

My favourite time of year

The picture two days ago http://www.japantoday.com/category/picture-of-the-day/view/full-bloom-7 was nicer I think. This one just looks crowded - see the stand

But the photographer caught the sakura affect in this one really well: I agree with Sf2k - like snow!

I was also there yesterday enjoying a nice boat ride in the moat, and last night was the last evening of their Illumination event. It was the best day to be there, because it was the only clear day to enjoy the Sakura. Here are the videos I made.
