I hear the bee population is declining.

Sarge is chillingly right. Possibly due to overuse of chemicals and pesticides, and genetically modified crops, the bee population is dying out fast. This is really serious, as bee play a vital part in the cycle of nature. Unfortunately, Japan's plan to import bees from South America may add gasoline to fire, as their has been no studies weather the imported varieties will waste the indigenous ones...remember Black Bass...

Bees are one of the few useful insects. Their saliva ( honey ) tastes great on toast or in tea!
