There are plenty of Japanese people with Christmas feelings. They even know better than to spell Christmas with a lower case letter 'C'.
The lights are really beautiful, too!

Wow. The lights are very beautiful! I want to see these lights in person if I have a chance.

I saw this last year. It's a great show to experience. I highly recommend that you go visit if you get the chance.

Whether or not Japanese people celebrate Christmas as it's feted in other lands, with days off work and family and friends visiting, I have to agree the lights are fabulous. If there's one thing the Japanese know how to do, it's decorate. Or over-decorate, but who cares? The only thing that disgusts me is the KFC thing. Aside from the fact it's anything BUT healthy food, ANY fast food on a holiday like Christmas is beyond the pale. If you don't like, or can't, take the trouble to make a big turkey dinner, at least buy a chicken, stuff it and go for the real thing. But KFC? Aarrrgg!
