Few calligraphy movies have been made by both Japan and South Korea, yet i still don't understand the meaning of it, I have to take journey across in China to learn about it.

When I saw the Japanese lady punk band play in the USA again last year, I was close enough to the stage to see the setlist taped on the floor near Naoko's feet. It was written in kanji so I couldn't read it. After the show they stick around and you can meet them, talk with them and get autographs - they'll sign anything. They usually sign swag in Roman letters but this time I bought their new CD/DVD live set and it has their pictures with their names (Roman script) next to them as captions. Therefore I asked those 3 ladies to sign this album in kanji and they did so. That was sweet of them and I told them 'Domo arigato'.

Several examples are in hiragana ('yorokobi'), so this photo shows off 'calligraphy', not 'kanji'.
