Ha ha! I have photos of this guy too. Saw him in Yokohama with all the same type of gear, except the dress he was wearing was white and he had some sort of plastic boobs underneath that were poking out quite prominently at the time. He seemed pretty darn happy!

@kokorocloud

Yep. Time to call PETA!

Haha, cute old man. I do feel sorry for the goldfish though.

Look at me

That guy's problay like 'I'm 75 years old, I can do what I wanna do!' and I say more power to him! He isn't bothering anyone so what's the big deal.

The guy is probably nuts. He looks like an idiot and anyone who says it's "art" is even more of an idiot.

What a boring bunch of people some (but thankfully not all) of you commenters are. This guy and others like him are usually harmless and it makes life interesting to have people who are a bit "different" around the place. I'd rather see this guy than another dark-suited chain-smoking salaryman any day.

He's just a tryhard.

Cloudy Bongwater blows this guy away.

Daft as a brush. Free those goldfish.

He came to see Obama.

His art is sending the message "how wierd life can get?". Materialism, vanity...

Why are you all being so bitchy?

Like wajisin said, he's kind of a fixture around the Yokohama area. He seems interesting and harmless.

It's also nice to see him with a new hat!

It looks as if Kewpie Mayonnaise has sponsored him, it surely was meant for the Free Trade of Mayonnaise in the Pacific Region.

please tell me he lost a bet and was forced to wear this!!!

Isnt this the guy down by the river outside the blue tarp with the ozeki one cup jar in his hand?

And you know 2 heads are better than one...

Or another Dali. At least the goldfish isn't edible.

The new Picasso

Just another attention seeker.

I've seen this guy every time I go to the park in Yokohama by the bay. He seems pretty harmless and people love taking pictures with him - perhaps he does it for the company. What they did not mention is he wears all that stuff while bicycling...quite the spectacle.

Believe me, he didn't do it for APEC. He does it all the time here in Yokohama. Then there's the Japan Samurai tragic who rides the 5 o'clock Toyoko line train from Shibuya in full sports regalia and hard hat with streamers, exposing his knobbly knees year round.

Nope, if he says it's 'art' then it is. We just have to accept that. Whether we like it or not is arbitrary. Still, I'm reminded of an artist friend's 't' shirt which read; 'art is anything you can get away with'

Anyone can say that anything is "art", we don't have to accept it though.

In Yokohama?!? And he didn't even get arrested?

Oh, yeah! That's art? This guy has some serious issues!

"This guy has some..." JT has presented his picture for quick solution !
