Mickey Mouse celebrates with young Japanese people, who'll be 20 years old this year during a ceremony Monday at Tokyo Disneyland to mark "Seijin no Hi" (Coming-of-Age Day). The holiday, held on the second Monday of January, celebrates young people who have turned 20 -- Japan’s official age of adulthood -- over the previous year or will do so before March 31 this year.

No Japan-bashing please.

I certainly don't intend to Japan-bash but when I saw this on the TV, I immediately thought "Cinderella and Prince Charming" would have been more in the same "age group"...

At the risk of sounding condescending, I'd say it's time to avoid a footloose and fancy-free life. Congratulations on Adults' Day!
