Ah, the 'Darth Vader' ladies! These people are a menace when riding bicycles -- literally dangerous because you cannot see where they may be looking to anticipate if they are going to turn (they usually ride on the wrong side of the road with umbrellas, heavy baggage, etc. as well) and may well crash into you. Pretty funny looking on the tennis courts as well.

Jawa or Tusken Raiders?

In the US they would be arrested for disguising themselves! Very soon however necessary protection against the sun will conflict with ridiculous American laws.

Oh my dog! Talk about 'ban the burka'! How's this stuff? S there actually a person under that or is it just a manikin?

why don't they just go live in a dark cave if they are so afraid of the sun, way over-doing it.

They want white skin to make them feel superior. Dark complexions are associated with inferiority, according to Japanese tradition.

a couple of wrinkles or freckles? no problem. it's the thoughts inside the minds of these people that are the problems

Must be a shortage of burka's in Tokyo's many fine boutiques.

Their husbands did not permit them to attend the match citing an untidy house and a lack of funds. So they disguised themselves lest their husbands find their pictures on some website.
