Once again, nowhere to sit. Not a single bench. Even the steps have been roped off. In Japan all sight-seeing is done standing up. It is the opposite of welcoming.

I've never seen Kofukuji so empty! And I don't want to come across as heartless, but that shot makes me want to go there and take a pleasant un-peopled stroll.
