U.S. Navy Adm Harry B. Harris Jr, left, commander of the United States Pacific Command, is shown the way by Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani prior to their meeting at the Defense Ministry in Tokyo on Wednesday. Harris said to reporters earlier in the day he was unable to confirm reports that China had positioned anti-aircraft missiles on a disputed South China Sea island, but added the issue "concerns me greatly."

Something that some may find interesting is that ADM Harris was born in Japan and the first Asian- American to reach Admiral in the US Navy.
