Secretary Mattis ensures US commitments on

1) Solidifying East Asia security

2) Japan-US Security Treaty Article 5 over Senkaku Islands

3) Nuclear umbrella

Perfect, 100% answer to Japan.

How can we serve you, master?

No right wing nonsense from Inada now. She's as submissive as an Edo Jidai Geisha. I hate to say it, but Trump has so far been very good for Japan. He has played their game and shown them for the protectionist racists that they are. And now look.. Abe and Inada are sitting there like a couple of school kids sent to the principal's office. Trump just might be the catalyst that stops the right wing march of Japan. Wait and see. As long as Trump is in office, my prediction is that you will see a serious ebbing in the right wing propaganda. I hate to say ANYTHING positive about trump, but he is a VERY good wake up call for Japan.

Mattis' expression looks like he's being forced to sit on the spinning teacup ride at Tokyo Disneyland.

He's thinking he'd rather do this at an isakaya

Watching last night on tv was interesting.

For the most part (not always) Mattis was stony faced, side on and hardly moved his body, even when talking.

Abe on the other hand was mostly smiling, facing mainly to the front or half front (camera direction) and often used expressive "body language".

To observe, it felt like a pantomine. But I guess Abe is out to garner as many brownie points as possible.

Moderator: It is extremely offensive to call Japanese bigots and racists. This is the third time you have posted this garbage. The moderator's decision is final at all times. Please do not post this again or you will be suspended from the discussion board. Also, please stop using our discussion board to post anti-Japan rants, which more than 95% of your comments are. That is not acceptable posting behavior.

First of all, I don't Japanese racists and bigots. I call people like inada racists and bigots because that's exactly what she is.

This is the third time you have posted this garbage.

No it's not. If you had done your job properly you would know that I have modified my answer every time to try to appease you.

The moderator's decision is final at all times.

You are not Kim Jong Un.

Please do not post this again or you will be suspended from the discussion board.

Please understand that I am saving every single email you send me when you delete my posts. When I have enough of them that show a definite bias I will send them to my lawyer. Please know that I have already sent them to my lawyer but he said that we need more proof to bring charges against JT.. So I think it's only fair to tell you that I am saving the emails and giving them to my lawyer. Feel free to act as a despot and delete my post and suspend me for as long as you like. I can always make a new account, but I won't do that. I prefer instead to take you and JT to court.

Japan guarantees freedom of expression. And that is exactly what I am doing is expressing my opinion.

Also, please stop using our discussion board to post anti-Japan rants, which more than 95% of your comments are. That is not acceptable posting behavior. "

First of all, if you look at my posts they are almost always receiving positive remarks. What I am posting is anti-LDP not anti-Japan. I understand that Japan today has been bought out by a right wing xenophobic company. But that does not mean that the moderators themselves must expose the same views. I make no apologies for my Anti LDP stance. Other posters have called you out for labeling me anti-Japanese. You don't know me. I have a Japanese wife and a Japanese son. It is extremely stupid of you to assume that I am anti-Japanese it is ridiculous. If you want to be a Japanese apologist and I guess person by all means go ahead. But we all do not have to follow your views. If we did, what's the point of posting in the first place? Also, if you cannot tell the difference between the LTP in the nation of Japan, then you are way under qualified for being a moderator on this website.

I find your comments about me being anti-Japan extremely offensive, vulgar, and downright stupid ,especially since I have a Japanese son. It is in his name that I am posting. Out of concern for this country which I feel is being taken down the wrong path. Posting anti-trump anti-Republican posts is not anti-American. And by the same means posting anti-LTP antigovernment rhetoric should not be considered into Japan either. If you're going to be a moderator on this site you should know the difference.

If you want to suspend me for 24 hours go ahead. Suspend me for a week if you want. Unless you suspend my account permanently I'll be back in posting again the same things. nothing will change

Moderator: You can have 24 hours off from posting. During this time, please refamiliarize yourself with the rules of the discussion board. They state quite clearly that the moderators' decisions are final at all times.

Jim Mattis's visit has removed anxiety to some extent from the mind of PM Abe and Tomomi Inada as both are now looking , peaceful, quiet and happy .
