Delta, when will you step into the 21st century and install video screens on every seatback?

I special order a meal from them on every flight. Try the Muslim one. Not bad. Hindi one sucked as well as the Kosher one. Veggie was passable.

@combinibento I totally agree! Delta uses the oldest airplane from NRT to SFO. I felt like I was on some 3rd world airplane. Retire that ragged 747 and upgrade to a A380 baby!

Eating on planes is a major contributor to Jet Lag and should be avoided at all costs. Eat well at the airport and sleep on the plane and drink plenty of water. @bentheredonthat: Have Delta any 380's on order? somehow I doubt it.

My younger sis works for Delta and says to never eat the food - on any flight or any airline for that matter! Have taken her advice and bring something with me if need be. I also agree with Rainman - I haven't really had a bad case of jet lag since laying off the food. In general, I think it's silly to choose to fly an airline for their "food".

The food served by Turkish Airlines is better in Economy Class than Delta's in Business Class.

@godan: Correct. In fact it's silly to choose a cheap airline. You pay for what you get. If you fly Economy, unless you fly Singapore Airlines or Cathay Pacific on their newer aircraft it is going to be rubbish. Economy Class is not what makes an airline money. Airlines will continue to get away with the bare minimum in Economy while concentrating on the premium classes. I seriously wonder what some people expect on this Forum when they are paying 60-80,000 Yen for a return flight to the East Coast. Amazing that there actually anything to debate.

I have a full respect to all Delta pilots and crew members. They are the greatest.

I would only fly with Delta again if the management improves airplanes, safety inspection and the mileage program. I really do not care about "food".

Notice the photo shows only what you get in First and Business Class? Completely absent is the grotesque crap that passes for "food" in cattle class. Picture paints a 1000 words doesn't it?

@mrsynuk: Exactly. See my comment above.
