Japan pays huge contributions to UN but the whole world see her as invisible!

@just-a-guy,

Maintaining a low profile is exactly Japan's objectives to accomplish goals unlike China.

Subtle yet objective has been in Japanese culture for centuries. It is like this; Chinese wear mink coats with empty pockets while Japanese wear humble clothings with lots of moeny in pockets. Japanese are not arrogant unlike China.

What is he doing, telling the world how Japan got it WRONG, how NOT to be safe...........

This type of limestone is not as nice as we have in Japan.

Actually, I've been happy to see movement towards international coordination of nuclear policies. I'd predicted that the Fukushima tragedy would necessitate this - that any country taking on the responsibility of producing nuclear power would also take on the burden of global standard. It was not so long ago that nuclear power was part of state secrecy - military, really - and, if activists are wise and push things in the right direction, the future will see this as the day the genie out of the bottle was finally put within a group suitable to supervise it.

"Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda addresses a high-level meeting on nuclear safety and security of the 66th session of the United Nations General Assembly, on Thursday."

I believe in free speech. But the idea of Japan talking about "nuclear safety" is analogous to the nazis talking about loving non Germanic people.

Bottom line is Noda is at the forefront of poisoning residents of Japan with radiation. He should be addressing an audience of prosecutors in the Hague, sitting next to Gadaffi.

"The Japanese PM is up... break time!"

So he makes his debut by making a bunch of empty promises and telling lies?

I can see why so few are interested in what the Japanese representation has to offer at a meeting on nuclear safety and security.

But sure, I'll give him time. What's the average come to, 10 months?

Noda has tremendous high IQ but I dunno how political savvy he is.

@Konsta

Don't kick him out, give him time.

I second... give him some time...

Noda is, actually, doing fine. I don't understand, guys, why you don't like him. He is not a God or a king, and he faces extremely difficult problems, and he is doing not bad, and he looks and speaks not bad. Don't kick him out, give him time.

seems very few countries are attending this assembly...or was it (Noda's trun) after Iranian president's speech?!
