"Hina" dolls depicting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and U.S. Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy are displayed at Kyugetsu doll company in Tokyo on Thursday. The special "hina" dolls are on display to celebrate the upcoming Doll Festival, or Girls' Day, slated for March 3. Japanese written between Japanese and U.S. national flags reads: "Friendship."

An embarrassment for Kennedy to be put in the role implying of a submissive wife, in the Japanese tradition, next to the nationalist Abe. She most certainly won't appreciate this, either as a women or as an American.
