War and natural disasters have caused a lot of pains and loss to human-beings. Don't give up ... you can make it ...

the ba chans are probably right at home being able to sit around and chat with there friends all day long. But I am sure plenty of the younger ones are bored out there minds. I worry that so many people are taking shelter in Gyms and large open area indoor places. Reports of after shocks have not stopped.

Japan has a large population of seniors over 65 years old.
making yourself, kujiranikusuki-kun, feel comfort and do something for evacuees now, if you are in Japan.
Your worry cannot change anything, only the government knows how to restore a normal life to people in these areas.
TV stations have their jobs of reporting, we cannot ask them to stop reporting, so you make take their jobs ...

It must be very hard for these folks staying like this.
Yes that's very easy to say when we sit nice and comfy at home. Most of these people have lost everything. Homes, personnal belongings including Family and Friends. There are hardly any friends in those places. Most friends of people are missing.
It's a room full of strangers away from a place once that was called home. No future in sight for many, just darkness and shock what has happened to their lives. Maybe put yourself in them shoes to get a better picture. No such thing as being right at home.

I think the average person, will like to talk with others, a bit of fluid & food, but SLEEP is so important not only to younger ones, but those that are older as well.

Smythe-kun, do you want to become a volunteer in this gym? You can shout out ...."obaachan, please go to sleep. It is good for your health". Do you know what they are thinking? How old are you?

Anybody know if there are lists of evacuees on-line anywhere? I'm trying to find out if some of my friends in Rikuzentakata and Ofunato are OK.
In the area there are reporters getting live TV feeds out and obviously AP photojournalists transmitting their photos, so I don't see why this isn't possible.
