Fine figures

Figure Skating is one of the most bored sport that I ever saw.

But many japanese, including my wife, are addict to watch those figure skating championships.

That picture is seriously crazy. For them to hold that pose, like statues, on solid ground would be impressive enough...but to have them gliding at 5kph on ice, sustained by no wider a base than a 1 mm wide ice skate blade? Wow.

Figure Skating is not my thing, but that's just impressive.

I agree that figure skating is boring.

However, I must go on to add that that is an amazing photograph of an amazing photograph. What is generally boring can have amazing moments, and that is one.

It always amazes me what we are capable of doing physically on ice.
