Dave Grohl: From what I've read, one of the nicest people in the business.

Yeah I have heard that too. A friend of mine went out to dinner with him and his ex-wife once. She said he was totally unpretentious.

My daughter worked on one of his videos... Says the same thing - he's the nicest guy in the business and goes out of his way to make things easy for the video production team.

when my friend jumped of the balcony during their concert a few years ago, he stopped the show to make sure that he got help. my friend broke his leg in the manic plummet.

Didn't see any great acts of kindness from the crowd watching the concert last night. I was in the back area and there was some serious MOSH PIT action led by some army guys I guess. Well everyone seemed to be having fun... Wow they are awesome live. Amazing energy. Only complaint was that the hall was not tiered so had to jump to see them.. Oh well. I'll get over it.

I don't consider myself a huge fan of the Foo Fighters, but then I stop and think about it, and I actually like a lot of their stuff. I've also heard the rumour about him being a really nice guy. I saw them when they played Fuji Rock a couple of years ago, and they were fantastic. One of my highlights of the whole weekend. Grohl ran into the crowd and climbed on top of the sound booth. He also played a stripped down solo version of "Everlong" that was great.

Their show was great. And this time even 2 hours!! Did anyone see the "mistake" Taylor made? Too bad American fans always need to let everyone know they are there. So annoying!
