Not about nationality but about being a caring human being.

It is true that some events closer to home get more coverage here, but then again, isn't that the same in every country? Also, the terror attack in Turkey was not an attack against Turkey but against Kurds by IS supported by the Turkish government, so if you wanna fly a flag, fly the Kurdish one.

Well, it makes sense that developed countries will mourn other developed countries' losses more than undeveloped ones as they have much deeper cultural, economic, political ties than the others so makes complete sense and should not be considered strange at all. Bombings in Lebanon, Iraq and Nigeria are all tragic and terrible to hear about, but massacres at bars, football stadiums, concerts, cafes, etc. in Paris or London or Sydney strike directly at home so I will mourn these attacks infinitely more than a massacre in Peshawar.

Tokyo tower but not skytree . What is the problem with the reaction time in Japan to events like this ? Too much bowing to superiors .... That's it ! If something like this happens you do not have to ask your boss to do it and ask it later if he is not a total imbecile he will thank you for that .
