Ms Sakai, from a purely technical point of view I'd say you need to be a little more consistent with your tonal blending in PP. I'm not sure if this is a HDR, or if you have done some dodging and burning, but the tonal range is pretty uneven in this one. Worth revisiting I'd say.
This bell tower in Kiyomizudera is called the Shoro and was constructed in 1596 by order of the Emperor. The bell was originally cast in 1478 and moved after this new tower was built.
This subject deserves better than being butchered by crappy HDR. On the other hand, if this is the look Sakai-san was going for, he/she certainly achieved it.

That's an excellent shot! I love the dramatic clouds in the background.

Amazing photo. It looks like a watercolor painting.

If you look very closely you can see the Kyoto Tower among the buildings in the city below. The old and the new, relatively speaking anyway.

LOL, "For Whom The Bell Tolls", while dark clouds gather in the distance. A dual-message photo if there ever was one! :-)

Kiyomizu-dera is one of the most fascinating places in Japan.

This photo reminds me a "One-Hundred-Eight" karma in human suffering.
