boring factory landscape

It IS one of the contradictions to living here. When I take the Shinkansen from Tokyo south, I try to avoid the shots of Fujisan with the industrial smokestacks. After this, I won't. Very thought provoking photo.

what was the shutter speed on that. love the way the plume is slightly diffused.

I think the smokestacks could be photoshopped out but then the pic wouldn't match reality. The juxtaposition of Fuji and industry is interesting.
