Getting ready for spring

It’s a great place to go. Had a deer walk through our campsite at 6:30 am. I was coming out of our campcar. Didn’t even phase the animal. In the evening a bunch of tourists were running through the campsite. Strange. Apparently the tour bus was late and they were all running to the sunset observation point like they’ve never seen a sunset before. LOL

WAs still snowing in Hokkaido last week.

These roads are just for tourism so in my opinion this is a complete waste of time and money not to mention all the pollution etc caused in this.

For those that don't know, teams of people and snow cutters (as in the pic) spend weeks cutting through the snow to open the road a few weeks earlier than it would if the snow melted naturally. We would never do this in my country.
