She's a lot shorter than I thought. Good to see that she slimmed down, she's was really porking up at one point.

"Singer"

She create her own fashion different than other copycatter entertainers in USA. Very creative and original. After she came out as top in magazines, Madonna disappeared.

Lady gaga is so 2010

I'm going because she was the first star to come to Japan right after the earthquake in 2011, while everyone else was busy cancelling. Raves to her! And I like "Born that was". Hope she sings it tonight.

Lady Gaga is only like 150cm tall

That is tiny. She made a few decent songs, she's more of an artist, I wouldn't really call her a musician, but as artist, she does what she does well.

Me, Gaga and a bottle of Ketchup, mmmmmm.

What? Lady Gaga wasn't around in the mid-90's

I think she is only as weird as she needs to be to balance out the boredom churned out by the rest of the world. I look around and all I see is boring hair, boring clothes and boring make-up. Even the teens are boring. If people were more free and expressive, like I think there were in times past, such as the 60s, Gaga would be written off. But she fills a niche in this boring world.

I am not a fan per se. But I think she is cool and much needed.

I do respect Lady Gaga as a entertainer and a remarkably astute, creative, business woman. I am fascinated by her uniqueness and abashed embrace of her own outlandish ideas. She is something different and rebellious, which is a paradox of creativity in pop culture. The lady knows how to grab attention and keep us interested just long enough to keep her name burnt, and that takes at least some level of smarts and knack for business.

I thought the fad had passed. also not kuch of a looker - just the outfits etc make her.

also not kuch of a looker

Why so focused on looks?

With those boots, I doubt she was sitting in an emergency exit row on the plane.

I just saw Lady Gaga in concert in Lake Tahoe 2 weeks ago!

Has Kyary Pamyu Pamyu been warned? Shall we see Gaga imitate her in an effort to ingratiate and/or alienate herself with/to Japanese audiences - fail/succeed. Or will she just do it to 'put Pamyu in her place'? Get Madonna (56) over here to sort her out.

I wrote about USA gossip magazines since Gaga appeared. Not when no one ever heard the name Gaga. Gaga replaced Madonna stories in gossip magazines in USA. Madonna gossip was her support of gay people and she was banned from Rossia abs that was a long time ago.. Then no wGaga's attires and how much she earns, etc. There are many gossip magazines in USA and it is not 90's now..

With all the vomit and blood she uses in her shows, she's he perfect role model for young Japanese.

Gaga imitate Kyary? Lady Gaga is one of Kyary's main inspirations!

Got back from the concert an hour ago. The hour pre-show was a waste of time. The hour and 45 minute show nailed it. But I'd like to have had a longer show.

@Novenachama: Your use of "abashed embrace of her own outlandish ideas" turns an otherwise reasonable comment into a grievous English error. I'm sure you meant 'unabashed'. And as for Gaga, I'm not into her music, but she is an artist. As Yoko Ono is in her way, as Madonna is in hers. Appreciate them for what they are, what they accomplish and what they do for the good. Life goes on.
