Good moves

The humanoid HRP-4CA, center, dances on stage with human dancers in Tokyo. The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology has developed the software Choreonoid enabling a robot to make complicated moves like dancing by moving computer graphics of the robot on a display by a mouse before the action.

If she can go to the fridge and get me a beer and comes with a mute switch I want one! The best part is you could get two and program them not to get jealous when you have sex with one in front of the other! The possibilities are endless!

The best are the lovely and beautiful Japanese dancers, thus HRP-4CA is only an accessory :)

A few guys making out with the other four babydolls could also help solve the population problem...

Looks like Japan is solving its population problem...

Will people be making love to androids one day??? Of course. I think that men having one of these in the closet could save a lot of marriages.

If they weren't dancing to Herbie Hancock's "The Rocket" or Krafterk's "Computer Love" remix version from The Mix album, It's not worth reporting.

I'd like to marry one of them robots, I dont' care for the steel legs and stuff but if they can make one with an exterior like the girls on realdoll.com it would be nice!

If a robot can dance then it should be able to walk and carry a heavy object without falling over. Creepy, but still necessary for the advancement of robotics. An android in every home! iRobot, A.I., Time of EVE are the kinds of robotics the Japanese are trying to achieve. Think about it, it can easily become a multi-billion dollar industry if it accomplishes even basic household tasks such as cleaning, washing windows, fixing certain items and so on leaving humans with more time to goof off, maybe even giving parents more gasp family time! Honestly if I had a machine that would wash clothes, vacuum, dust, and maybe even cook (although I'd prefer the human touch and TASTE) in that regard it allows me to have a more time to do things I want to do.

I see the next hopeful for "Dancing With the Stars" and daaamn it's got some big feet and hands!

A robot with the choreography programmed into her would never make a misstep, but what if the dancers make a mistake (or if there is a glitch/error/hardware failure)? I'd hate to see the injuries that would occur to these pretty girls and in front of an audience to add insult to injury..

Whenever I see robots like this, I wonder where society is heading. Will men and women be making love to androids one day?

This is awesome and disturbing all at once.

sad that they picked girls that look like the robot...

I must admit that while I find it amazing that Japanese companies have the money to spend on developing these robots I can also see their potential for replacing humans doing hazardous work, taking over the world, running the death camps....

Oh dear, but she's so cute!

Wait! Which one is the robot?
