Russian President Vladimir Putin shakes hands with a Japanese official as Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe prepares to greet someone else in Nagato, Yamaguchi Prefecture, on Thursday nighty. In photo below, right, Abe and his wife Akie wait for Putin's arrival at the hot springs resort. The Russian leader arrived in Japan 2 1/2 hours late.

In addition to arriving 2-1/2 hrs late....?

The first photo location looks -as so often - cheap and awful. The second makes Abe look idle.

This picture seems very funny. The picture should be in good shaking hands of Abe and Putin, but Abe shakes hands with nobody and Putin shakes hands with somebody whom nobody knows. It looks like two leaders avoid each other.

This image looks straight from a 70's movie

Maybe the shot is delayed 2 1/2 hours to develop.

What terrible photographs. Shinzo looks like he's shaking hands with the invisible man in the first and Akie doesn't look so LGBT-friendly in the second one.
Where's the little man in the glasses that always stands behind Shinzo's left shoulder and whispers what to say into his ear?

Hopefully the onsen was good, Boss!

Putin: Oh, sorry I'm late Mr Abe. Random bloke: I'm not Abe.

Well, Putin seems cheery, hopefully the summit goes well!

I don't understand this, why wasn't a normal photo of Putin and Abe taken?

Abes been standing there with his hand outstretched for 2 and a half hours and Putin walks straight past him.
