I went to it at Womb in Shibuya last year just coz I could get in for free. Yeah, it did rhyme with game and not to mention so crowded that it made the Den-En Toshi line in rush hour look like a picnic. The whole affair was just like their Metropolis podcast. As in cliched and overly "try-hard".

For some reason the turqoise, pink, blue and red costumes remind me of Afghanistan...

Definitely better than last year's Glitterball photo.

Why hold a Halloween party on Wednesday when Halloween is actually on a Saturday. How often is Halloween actually on a weekend and they're throwing the party on Wednesday?!?!?!?

cheaper to rent out the club on a weekday than a weekend = make more money?

In Japan, they hold Halloween events anytime in the week leading up to Oct 31. There was a big Halloween parade in Omotesando last Sunday, for example.

I was at the party last night, and fortunately, it wasn't as crowded as last year. But it certainly wasn't lame as some readers claim. Everyone seemed to have a good time and there were some gorgeous women as usual. Policewomen costumes were the most popular among the girls. They gave away trips to the U.S. and Singapore and one-night stays for two at all the 5-star hotels, dinners for two, tickets to the Bledisloe Cup, etc.

Alas, I didn't win anything, not even a raffle.

Nothing wrong with a Halloween party on a Wednesday. Nothing stopping you from going to two parties, or even ten. Nothing wrong with making Halloween a week long event. Since Christmas decorations are already coming out, I will be sick of Christmas before December hits. I never seem to get sick of Halloween.

And a quartet of Power Rangers? I wish I had some friends I could coordinate like that with. My friends might have more original costumes, but darned if you can plan anything with them.

To sum up, quit your belly-aching and enjoy.

I was there, too. It was fun but I miss the Velfarre days. The only thing that bugged me last night was during the costume contest when one idiot foreigner, who seemed unhappy that he wasn't among the finalists, pranced about on the stage in front of the MC and the 12 finalists until security hustled him off.

There was another uninvited moron who got up on stage and started squeezing his makeshift balls, squirting a milky substance at the audience. Fortunately, he was hustled off, too, because some of the audience were getting ready to deck him.

With such beautiful women all over this country, why would you want to get excited about that ?
