Models take part in the Harajuku Style Collection for autumn at Ariake Coliseum on Sunday. Models included Jun Komori, 4th from right, actress IMALU, center, and singer Ami Suzuki, 4th from left. Becky, Puffy and Anna Tsuchiya also performed live at the event.

The ones on the ends are obviously hot....the others we won't know about until they can dress themselves.
bicultural
That's surely saying something about the average Japanese girl in Tokyo.
masterkun05
left to right 7,2,6,5,1,6,10,9.5,9.5. All scores out of 10. I am having trouble splitting the right 3.

Fashions of young women's clothing is more then eye catching & some good models as well.
On Forum & where some of the most beautiful Asian women are showen, some of the shots of the gals shopping or whatever is ALSO an eye opener. For they have so many different variaions. Some we do no see in Western Canada & the smaller towns or cities.
tokyotom
left to right yes, no, yes, yes, no, iffy, why not, no, yes
IvanCoughalot
I'll takes the ones on each end, at each end, please.

oberst
third from the right has real possibility............. yes, the far left one is by far the hottest
DuraAce
Come on you sad acts; these are some nice looking girls.
I will admit, I prefer my women a bit more chunky than this, especially in the leg department, but this is a pretty hot bunch of chicks
nath
Parisian street fashion is more interesting.
whiskeysour
The girl on the far left and far right are hot !!!! I like natural hair color !!!! Plus the girl with the black and white hot pants .
TokyoGas
I have said it once and I'll say it again, "You can slap on anything in Japan and have it considered fashion."
A tacky group of outfits.
Bunny ears??!!
marushka

Aaaaahhhh, welcome to Japan!
goddog
They all look like each other.
gamera
Looks like the circus has come to town. What a clown show!
randomenigma
No over knee socks? Disappointing, Japan. You can do better than this.
gaijinfo
throw ME the keys, you hentai oyaji!
lostrune2
Many girls here are too old to dress like that.
bogva
Yeah, beowulf - one hot looking from nine is not bad!?
What's more important is that actually it doesn't matter what they wear, but how much it cost at Harajuko boutiques...
Back in my home country gypsies on at the lowest social level are using rags and dress very similar!
beowulf
I think they all look fantastic. There is an array of looks and styles going on here and that is what I come to expect from Harajuku fashion.
I am certain that the woman on the far left is not short on boyfriends.
Sarge
Is Becky the 3rd one from the right? Ha ha, she looks a little like Becky!
The glasses on the girl next to Becky are too big.
"the blonde Raggedy Anne"
Har!
okapake
Style? Where?
Gurukun
And what's up with the blonde Raggedy Anne and the playboy bunny in the center. They don't even want to be standing there.

ho hum; A higher education does not ensure common sense.
You call everyone who posts middle age and who cares what these airheads think, if they are capable of such a thing.
ho_hum
stevepfc, your comment addressed to me makes no sense.
stevecpfc
ho hum; speak for yourself.

I enjoy creative, fun fashion. Especially the home grown fun fashion that you sometimes see girls wearing in Tokyo. But I have to say this line up is pretty depressing. Nothing new here. Nothing to say 'Wow that was the hit fashion of Fall 2010".
Then again it has been a long time since a movement in fashion was exciting. At least a lot of the girls in Tokyo are cute enough to pull off just about anything, no matter how bad. Minor consolation.
Judderman
looks they got dressed in the dark from a couple of boxes of clothes from oxfam
Judderman
the usual suspects..cute japanese remake?
ratpack
I'll take the bookends. The ones in the middle are free to go and scare people on the streets.
seesaw
Models?....I thought they're just ordinary girls on the street...
ho_hum
I somehow feel that girls in Harajuku, the designers of the clothes shown and the models in the photo themselves will remain in blissful ignorance of the carping middle-aged western men passing judgement on this forum. And even if they somehow found out, they wouldn't give a rat's posterior.
sugamosumo
hmm...almost all of the girls I saw in Harajuku last week look better than them. Why can't the "talent" agents do some more field work and recruit better looking girls???
susano
looks like a bunch of pre-teens have raided mommies wardrobe....
papigiulio
@some14some, get in line, I saw her first. ^^
borscht
I love it when a bunch of people start to dress in a certain way and then a designer 'designs' the same look and calls it their 'collection.' Komori looks the least 'modelish' as she gives the cameraman the British finger.
HermioneGranger
They're kinda short to be models.. Although I suppose they wouldn't fit harajuku clothes like that if they were anywhere near normal model height.
Some of them look great individually, but together it just looks ragtag and undirectional.
smartacus
What's that munchkin second from left wearing?
Gurukun
4th from the left is The Joker?
sensei258
They're gorgeous.
Klein2
No. Just no. Catch and release.
sillygirl
if they could only get their feet to point in a straighter line. goodness, i hate the pigeon-toed look.
twoyen
I'd only want to be seen in public with numbers 7 and 8. The rest just look like they are trying too hard. This is not the models fault though, I blame the designers.
rizaric
Why the hate? They're not so bad.
Molenir
The 2 on the right are cute, otherwise, no.
Disillusioned
A mutton parade.
meloveulongtime
models???
some14some
Autumn Collection or Winter Collection, i simply vote for an unknown model at extreme left !
