Whatever it is that she's muttering to him out of the side of her mouth, I bet it's heartfelt.

One of our favorite couples. We wish them wellness and happiness which are richly deserved .

A lovely couple.

Nice to see that they are talking again. And so clearly having the time of their lives. I like the euphemism of 400th years of "exchanges" between Spain and Japan.

the poor lady was forced into this marriage, because she had no alternative as a "Shakaijin/koumuin" when the prince set his eyes on her..and has been suffering all the way after that

Masako sama looks radiant.

Perhaps she looks "radiant" because she is getting out of the coop for awhile and going to Spain. Her former business background was international. She must miss it, I should think.

So another free trip abroad paid for us by us? Yes, no wonder she looks happy.

When the news that then Crown Prince proposed to Ms. Michiko Shoda, and marrying, a big joke in Japan was that only Imperial household males fall in love and marry.
Somehow, this Crown Prince managed to marry with his love.
Nice to watch the picture of a lovely young couple,

they are wonderfully dressed....I wonder how much of my tax goes towards their clothes?

I read somewhere that royal household retainers don't even speak mainstream Japanese; they speak some kind of ancient court language.
