I have two complaints about the announcement boards at the airport.

For routes permanently closed during the pandemic, why bother listing them?

And for share-code flights, why list each one on a separate line? Granted, they haven't done this in the photo above, but I've seen it before (can't remember whether it was in Japan or outside). I remember seeing a code-share flight listed 4 times. Just do what they've done in the photo above.

@Pukey2. Because the routes are not permanently closed. Just suspended. Scheduled flights technically still exist until the carrier decides to relinquish the rights to that route. No airline in their right mind is going to do that at Haneda as they'll probably never get those slots back.

Could be any sort of Han blooded people with VIP status more than likely Japanese or residents. Just because someone has black hair and appears to have so called Han features does not mean they are Japanese.

Very observant, and the dust coated old Samsonite, might have been stored in a dusty yurt or whatever place for a long time. No Japanese would ever ever carry a dirty bag like that. Plus the red tag on his suitcase handle for security comes only with departing the Chinggis Khaan International Airport. Represents the national flag. Cannot see hers in that picture.

Key words: during the pandemic. If the flights will resume, then show them when they resume. This is just a way of making it look as if the airport is busy. Like how they put photos of vegetables in the empty crates in UK supermarkets.

@Pukey: I explained why. If you have no interest in the quirks of the airline industry then no need to reply to my correct explanation. In the EU, airlines were forced to fly ghost flights during the first part of the Pandemic as the Aviation commission refused to change the rules on NOT servicing your scheduled flight, therefore forfeiting the slots.

Many of the flights yet to be reinstated as the demand is STILL simply not there (especially the early morning/late night commuter flights) - but still show in flight schedules and on airport websites. Relief was given to the airlines EVENTUALLY - as it was just a huge waste of money.
