Do the hustle
Wow! How much did they spend on creating posters that state the blatantly obvious and are advising common sense? From the 400,000 cases of ‘heat illness’ every year very few are foreigners. It would seem these posters should have been targeting the Japanese not foreigners.

"It's hot, keep cool" um.... thanks?

Condescending rubbish.

Maybe this was one of the things produced for the Olympics and just released regardless of the delay.
I presume there is a Japanese language version of the poster too? After all, the vast majority of ‘400,000 cases of heat illnesses’ will be Japanese people.

What foreign visitors?

But it would have been a fine environment for Olympic athletes.

I have a vague memory of this image being shown when they were trying to allay fears of heat stroke at the Olympics. ...I guess they just released the poster, even when there are no Olympics?

Well, with the prevalence of anti- covid masks, this summer is sure to be hot beyond intolerable.

Common sense.
It starts with a feeling of nausea. Then it leads to vomiting until your stomach is empty, but the retching continues. After that you get dizzy and maybe lose consciousness. If you’re lucky you get to an emergency room where they put you on an intravenous drip.
Common sense.

If you turn on the A/C that’s a progress and we can all stay cool, believe it or not it does help.

Yes it's common sense but still they think it's necessary.
So many foreigners still don't wear masks even though by now it's supposed to be not just common sense but common knowledge

My wife will not let me switch on the air conditioning yet. Fans it is.
I am using wet towels on my head, oh, and I used the aircon in the car today, hehehe.

Where are the visitors?
There aren’t any.
The Japanese I see on my commutes are still wearing suits and that includes females too.
One such, dripping with sweat was sat next to me on my morning commute for several stops.
Maybe, put those posters out in Japanese...
