i read that he plays tonto almost the same way as he played jack sparrow, which is similar to how he played the mad hatter. me thinks depp needs a new trick pony.

tideofiron: Actually, The Wild Wild West, while quite bad, didn't do all that badly after all was said and done. Disney spent a FORTUNE on this movie, on the contrary, and hence it is the flop it is.

Anyway, that doesn't mean it won't make up some of the slack overseas. A lot of terrible flicks that do badly in the box office do well overseas simply because of certain cast members, and Depp is well-loved world-wide. I'm definitely not going to see it.

ll those clothes in this heat. JD must be a bit clammy under all that. Movie sounds ike a dead loss. His best days are behind him it would seem and he just does these parodical roles now.

I love Johnny, but I have to say, I think he's over-egging the pudding as far as accessorising is concerned.
