Hudgens looks like she is about to take a mouth full.

This can't possibly be the best picture that could have been used.

Or is it?

Good picture. What's going through Vanessa's mind?

This movie is not really going to take Japan by storm methinks.

Yeah it is. She's a tramp.

Moderator: There is no need to call anyone a tramp. It only reflects badly on yourself.

That is a nice bouquet.

"She's a tramp"

Hey, just because she won the Choice Hottie award...

Hahaha they should have had the cast from the Japanese version of the HSM musical give them flowers

I was at a function at a hotel recently and the MC announced that a special guest would perform. When he called out "Beyonce," I was amazed ... and then Naomi Watanabe rolled out. I wonder what Beyonce would think if she saw this caricature.

oohh, and JT changed the photo...

I liked the first picture with the bouquet better. But I like the chubby redhead here on the left!

This show looks like a nightmare. What kind of "school girl" is that on the left?

On behalf of my native land, I deeply apologize to all Japan for the pending suffering caused by this movie...

Sarge - think you will find that is "Best Choice Hottieist", apparently also known as the "Best Trampist" award.

The pic really does need to go back to the other one. And the creature in the suit needs to get his hands out of his pockets.

Actually to me the look on their face's says "get me out of this freak show PLEASE!"

plastic.. plastic... plastics! i saw their tv appearance this morning, and zac was such a plastic with his answers to the questions! i think vanessa was more honest with her response, but zac would interfere her and responded with rehearsed answers - y'know the one that the japanese would love to hear like "we really look forward to come into your show! it's the highlight of our trip" blah blah blah!!!

So glad this crap isn't popular in Japan

Hudgens is probably saying "I thought they told us she looks like Beyonce"

Braniac, the real Beyonce and her sister met Ms. Watanabe on Waratte ii to omou last year. Beyonce thought she was funny as heck. She even danced a little with her.

I remember going back to the States and seeing the High School Musical fever, and wondering what happened. Can't believe it's so popular, but then again I can't believe the popularity of Hannah Montana either.

All the bounce with none of the Beyonce.

at least she's not making goose-like moves with her neck although that could be considered funny for some. the girl in pink doesn't blend in although shes smiling.

If those guys knew exactly what morning musume is they would probably puke.

and if Monimusu saw the trailer of HM3, it's virtually certain that they'll buy it, watch it and appear on Warrate Iitomo the following day and say this is the best American musical in the modern day. The 20 something females who watch the episode will buy it too. After watching the darn thing they'll say "Vanessa Ha-jenzu wa Kawaii" starting a designer baby fad, demanding genetic counselors to splice the genes of Irish, Native Americans, Fillipinos, Spanish and Chinese into their own genes to produce their ideal child. In most likelihood the child will look instead like Devon Aoki (ahhhh!).

The red pants they're wearing in the back are ridiculous. Too short to be pants, too long to be shorts. This style originated in LA, didn't it?

A collection of non-entities.

Wherever they originated, they've gone mainstream in the US (often worn with a chain accessory).

It's not the length which gives older folk, particularly school administrators, coronaries but the low cut. When schools institute dress code regulations it just becomes a cat and mouse game for the kids.

This could be a Japanese Grease, eh?

I can't believe High School Musical is now a Trilogy!!!!

Scary!!!!!
