Model/actress Natsuki Kato, 26, holds some Keds footwear at a press conference Wednesday to launch the American brand in Japan. Footwear company Chiyoda, which has over 1,100 outlets in Japan, will sell the Keds brand at about 800 outlets such as Shoe Plaza, SPC, and so on from the middle of April. The Spring/Summer Keds Chiyoda Temporary Collection will be sold for 3,490 yen and 4,390 yen on Chiyoda's online shopping website too.
Kato commented: "Keds shoes are flat, making them easy to move around in, and the design is attractive. They are good for places where heels are not appropriate such as cherry blossom viewing. They are an ideal gift for girlfriends."© Japan Today
