Poke: Oh, come, now! There are zombie parades on other nations. This is just tribute, and I think it's great. It's interesting how all the ladies (save one... unless it's a guy who looks like a girl) avoid the make-up while the guys go over the top. Anyway, zombies beat vampires any day of the week.

Oh, and I see the undead still give the peace sign for photos!

But Jonathan Frid, the actor who played Barnabas Collins in the original series and died just a few weeks ago must be rolling in his grave at having Dark Shadows turned into a comedy.

This movie looks pretty good actually.

I saw Dark Shadows yesterday. It's a good show, fans of the TV series (like me) have to realize that the orginal formula will not work as a movie. It is camp, what Tim Burton (also a fan of the TV series) does best, a fitting tribute from a talented director.

Im in the US n never heard of the movie so weird lol thought id at least a preview in the movie theaters as much as i go lol. looks kinda lame if you ask me :(
