Permanent peace has established since the end of World War II. Those colorful lanterns can cultivate new spirits in Japanese people to move on to a next destination in the twenty-first century, especially working together to rebuild Tohoku and restoring the nationwide energy supply system.

It's very hard to think what to say,but asianTourist put it so well.Our thoughts are with those who lost their lives in both Cities,and today with those in Tohoku.It's a testament to the human spirit that people can rebuild,rebuild but never forget those whose lives were cut short.

this picture, though beautiful, saddens me.

May we never forget the horrors of war. Visiting Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a humbling experience. Those two cities will have a special place in my heart.

One day I will see this. Hiroshima deeply impressed me 6 months ago. I was worried that it was a city that would make me feel very uncomfortable, but the exact opposite was true. Dignified, with a clear sense of vision and place in regards to it's regrettable position in world history, it is a mature beacon for peace in a world that sorely needs it. I tip my hat to that city.

When I saw this picture, I remember my visit in Hiroshima.
