"Talent" Kaori Manabe, left, stands with Rie Kuwabara, center, and Masako Ohara of the comedy duo Kuwabataohara at an event Tuesday to promote the second collection for Fast Retailing brand clothing line g.u. The clothing line launched its first collection of 990 yen jeans in 2006 under the concept of “buying freely, wearing freedom,” and their second collection features clothing as cheap as 490 yen with a trendier outlook geared toward people of all ages. When asked about her outfit, Manabe replied: “I think it's casual and sophisticated at the same time...I like it because I feel like if I were walking my dog in this outfit, I'd be able to give off more of a 'celebrity' vibe.”

"buying freely"

That's what I want to do.

I am training my dog to be a celebrity.

I think the author would be better off using the word inexpensive rather than "cheap".

It might help if they smiled.

women with such legs should wear long dresses to cover them

What's wrong with their legs? They look great to me. What can you possibly have against the pair of legs on the right, for example? Slim, shapely, what on earth is the problem?

kuwabara isn't so keen to show off her midsection since she stopped Core Rhythms. should stop showing those terrible adverts on TV now she is chunking up ahain

this photo is promotion of very bad clothes by three people who should never wear these clothes because they do not suit their figures as the clothes disfigure them more

the clothes look lioke they cost almost nothing - and g.u. paid the same peanuts for the "talent" to promote their rags.

Why would you want to give off a celebrity vibe while walking your dog .... When the article starts with the word "talent" - not a good sign.

I give off celebrity vibes when walking my dog. And I wear jeans.

I thought you walk your dog because the dog needs it. Or you walk the dog because you want others to look at you and you want to enjoy that feeling. No matter what they do to their physical appearance, can south east asians ever look like the sexy brazilian ladies or the smart french ladies or the blonde scndinavians? so just be yourself and maybe that really would make people admire you.

womanforwomen-wow, for someone who is supposed to stand up for women, you sure like to tear down your own gender, especially when it comes to Japanese women.

I am sure I am not alone in this feeling, but I think Japanese women are some of the most exotic, sexy and beautiful women in the world. I bet they can outshine all those ladies you mentioned, womanfor(brazilian, french, blonde scandinavian)women.. Now, this picture, this is a different story.
