Becky, 25, left, Jetstar regional general manager for Japan Masaru Kataoka, front right, and two flight attendants attend a special event to mark the budget Australian airline's 3rd anniversary in Japan at Akasaka Sacas in Tokyo on Monday. To celebrate, Jetstar is providing a special limited offer of two return fares between Australia and Japan for the price of one. The sale ends at midnight (Japan time) on Wednesday and is for travel between April 14 and Sept 30 (excluding April 27-May 9 and July 15-July 23). Reservations can be made online at Jetstar.com by clicking on the 3rd anniversary banner. Jetstar will also commence a four-times weekly service from Osaka to Cairns from April 1.

Jetstar are a good budget airline, but beware, from my experience, their customer service is crap. Last time I flew from Narita to the Gold Coast, they decided to change the flight details, 2 hours before departure, so instead of arriving at the GC, I arrived at Cairns, then Brisbane, then a 90 minute bus to the Gold Coas.....their excuse? Oh Sorry, thats it......

Qantas shoved me onto a Jetstar A320 without food or drink for my trans-Tasman connection from Narita. The longest 4 hours of my life

I'm sure Becky can afford not to fly Jetstar.

bump yourself up to Star class for 20000 yen (each way).... Probably the best deal I ever had and they never shut me off, ate good and was tidy when I woke up in Sydney.... and you get Qantas biz lounge use. Great deal for those who like to get tanked, eat good and sleep. For some bizarre reason I was the only dude in it but I peaked thru curtain and saw 200 miserable people.... PS, stewie outfits are ugly.

Jet star service sucks big time, but then you get what you pay for. Complaining about cheap crap when you pay cheap is silly.

I took one flight with them once, for a wedding. All seemed to be going well but something didn't quite seem right... We ended up landing in the wrong city, and the staff were definitely far from apologetic. It screwed up the wedding preparations completely as most of the guests were on board. You'd think that at least they could have offered something or even a proper apology to the passengers, but nup! Never again.

and what's worse, the Qantas group seems to have a virtual monopoly over the Cairns/Gold Coast-Japan routes. Not to least blame the Japanese government for denying Virgin and Air New Zealand more landing slots in Japanese airports

and two flight attendants

It's funny how a terribly unattractive person from one culture can be seen as attractive in Japanese culture.

I'm looking at the jetstar website now, and I don't see the 3rd anniversary banner anywhere.

Yay!! Becky!!

Ah, Becky. I'm really curious how her English skills are. Hopefully enough to communicate with those two blokes behind her.

The reasons for avoiding this crappy airline just keep increasing day-by-day don't they? Low rent celebs, crappy food you have to pay for and woeful customer service. Just doesn't get any better!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

she is cute! Nice eyes!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Becky is cute if not hot. Her personality can be a little annoying at times but I like her.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

what exactly does bimbo Becky have to do with this promotion??

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Why all the hate for Becky-chan? The woman is smoking hot! Granted, she - and all Japanese "celebs" - are on TV way too much.

"The woman is smoking hot! "

Lol.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Smoking hot? Oh no she aint.

The two in the back just wonder what the hell they are doing there I am pretty sure they did not understand most of the things which were going on.

Genjuro maybe those 2 airline "blokes" aren't interested in Becky! .....Looking at Becky now you can tell she just wont age well...

Australia's colors are yellow and green.

Using orange is selling out the country - what a cop out! :-)

and from the glimpse of their aircraft at Narita, they paint their planes gross silver, I'm pretty sure it's not the lack of paint like American Airlines, Jetstar does bother to put money into their paint jobs, and it turns out bland.

Just don't get it why this girl is so popular? Really no beauty, no sexiness, I don't know about the brain. Obviously she has good management though selling her for ads and TV programs, taking the top ranks in income...

Oh, Jet Star - what we were taking about...

she is hot as hell.

Her eyes creep me out.

Becky is beautiful, cute and the realest tarento on TV. Most female tarento are so fake, it makes me want to punch them or worse, ignore them. The only female tarento I'd take over Becky would be Mori Izumi.

Might I remind you she's wearing a dunce cap in this photo.

All hail Becky!

I used to work with the blond guy back in the day, for Peppy.

Wow, this Dutch Airline should go far. As for all the deep guys on here 'commentating' about how a woman looks, all adonis types are you? Yeah, riiiight.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I love Becky, I am getting old but Becky is always 25 years old...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Really, you straight guys don't have a clue sometimes. Becky is very beautiful, objectively seen, that is, in the eyes of a totally gay guy. I think you are looking for reasons why you don't want what you can never have. On the other hand, the guys in the back are smokkin'!

@Shinjukuboy: Good call. All this 'people' judging the aesthetics of a woman who wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Not sure if this is a coincidence or not, but I got a letter from Jetstar today, from their Singapore office. I wrote an email to them in January complaining about the shoddy customer service I received on a flight from Narita to the Gold Coast, and today they finally replied!

They actually have offered myself and my fiancé 100 dollars off our next Jetstar flights and apologised numerous times within the letter.

Im amazed, it did take a few months, but at least they finally did something!

Male flight attendants eh? What is this company thinking. See Singapore or Korean Air for a model of flight attendants.

Becky is allright looking, but I dislike all tarento, because they act like idiots, especially the women. I guess being stupid makes a woman cuter in the eyes of people here. I always hate it when people see my daughter and say “Kawaii! She could be a talento.” I always tell them I would prefer she became something respectable like a doctor, or a scientist, not some stupid, fake talento.

Maybe that roughly half their customers aren't interested in oggling the staff. I wouldn't mind either of the two in the photo pouring me a cup of coffee. They look nice and friendly, if a bit jet-lagged.

Becky is like Hello Kitty, a divider rather than a uniter. You either adore her cheerfulness, or despise her elfin manners.

Becky, by the way, is the direct opposite of Erika Sawajiri. Just saying.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

why can't they have direct flights to Sydney?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I don't care what some of you say I think Becky is cute.
