Singer May J, right front, poses with cast members of a short film "Futari no Kitto," which promotes Nestle's new product "KitKat Mail." It allows you to mail the chocolate with messages on its package in collaboration with Japan Post. The film and May J's new single "My Sweet Dreams" are accessible on YouTube in multiple languages.
In Japan, KitKat is famous for bringing good luck as it sounds similar to the Japanese "Kitto Katsu"(victory will come).
"I hope this song cheers up all of you with dreams to achieve" said May J.

A short film devoted entirely to promoting a chocolate bar?

No, it's not. It's somewhat well known amongst parents of kids taking exams, but beyond that, no. And is the song about eating Kit-Kat as well? Talk about sad!

They have special kit kat boxes at post offices where you write the address and a message for the recipient on the outside of the box. Last year they had mini daruma dolls with the kit kat bar and the year before was sakura themed, I believe.

Wish someone would mail a Christmas Kit Kat to me!
