Children light up the night at a service in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture on Wednesday evening held to observe the fourth anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Bamboo lanterns with "kizuna" or bonds of friendship written on them were lit up and arranged to spell 311, as participants turned their thoughts to their neighbors on the coast.
