tanyurine at 12:57 PM JST - 13th February Hey, c'mon, the guy wanted to look, but he's thinking, "Oh, no, if that guy clicks the shutter now, all my friends are going to see I'm riding my sister's pink bicycle!"
"Sister's"? Hell, it's probably his mother's bike.
Asara
ha ha!

I googled her and she looks lots more asian type on usual pictures. Maybe because of her short haircut. Anyway this picture is good and kind of funny :)
jam_sandwich
Wow, I wish all Canadians were that hot (before surgery)
earthcreature
So is he just taking her bike the bike parking lot and then gona give her back the key??
jackseoul
That guy! She just parked her pink promo bike to pose for the picture and...
jackseoul
In Canada we pronounce it "krook."
earthcreature
the guy with the pink bike is awesome!! his not even looking at her!! is soo totally in his zone and not even caring about her, at least in the picture.
... He reminds me of Beijing Bicycle hahaha

I don't like the shoes either. They don't improve her posture. She is 5'4'', 163 cm.
Nessie
The photographer Kreuked up.
Asara
She is not bad but the her shoes I am not sure. Is she 160-170cm maybe...
Richard_III
With a mama chari zombie in the background.
Last time I saw this lass was when she was in Superman. She's aged well.
gogogo
They couldn't get rid of the otaku in the background or is he part of the shot?
presto345
There are a lot more and nicer pictures on imdb.com. Her surname is a typically Dutch name. I wonder how they pronounce it in Canada . . .

I agree with you guys that cartoon != real life, but I have seen casual cross-dressers look more like Chun Li than Kruek ever will. Now as far as finding one of those that's just as popular and just as good at acting may be impossible. I"ll still see the movie anyways, its going to be B-movie horrendously funny.

but anyone who uses the road daily should know that there no such thing! from drivers to pedestrians - no use of P-vision is evident at all!
Samuraiiki
That is a Barbie doll. Mamma mia.
Dennis Bauer
I wonder if the movie will be as "good" as the previous streetfighter movie

How did he manage to keep all the other otaku-photogs out of the picture?

Hey Kristin Kreuk,
If you are reading this, I got what you need.
Since you have asked me not to call you at work, I have opted to discuss your fineness through this website.
I know we have known each other for only one minute, but I already know you are the girl for me. You are the only one I want to laugh with, talk with, and grind on the dance floor with. You are the only one I want to ride... with.
Do not doubt my words.
oreoreda
The man looks shell-shocked at the sight of a real, actual woman; he came to Akihabara to escape all of that.
goosage
"He's not even looking at her." Oh he's looking at her - that is the tried and true Japanese peripheral vision technique.
im3ngs
The photographer should know better than to compose a shot like that. But the guy on the bike made my day. He's not even looking at her. He becomes the focus of the photo. LOL
NeoJamal
It's difficult to think about real life in the context of Akinabara or Eurasian babes mate. There's no need of that dream breaking rant on this thread. I'm sure the poster experiences his heavy dose of reality everyday, just like the rest of us.
superneil58
Reply to mechadamuramu>>> Of course she doesn't look like Chun-Li. CHUN-LI IS A CARTOON CHARACTER!! Cartoon character features are exaggerated by the animators who draw them that way for cause and effect. Movies are about good performances and telling a story, not whether the actor looks like the cartoon!!
flammenwerfer
you are all wrong - the guy in the photo makes the photo - its the juxtaposition of it all. What is the guy looking at? he seems pretty mesmerized by something that she hasn't noticed. It a great photo - very Henri Cartier-Bresson-esque: capturing a moment. Though wouldn't expect the philistines around here to appreciate it.
NeoJamal
Normal wimmin in my Akiba? it's more likely than you think.
kwatt
Why didn't Sato yell the guy cycling before taking the picture? It would be much better photo.
blvtzpk
Better than yesterday's coils of wire, ne!
rurika
memyselfI, she is of mixed Dutch and Chinese ancestry.
soldave
Not good photo, the sole reason being the guy on the bike in the immediate background.
SushiSake3
sis!

Kristin Kruek is gorgeous but looks nothing like chun li... http://kotaku.com/5149284/the-evolution-of-chun+lis-face Especially in the legs... =(

Photo shop the bicyclist out of the picture. And she is not out of place. She is fine like wine with a nice bee-hind. The important thing that matters is she half chinese ? Because Chung Li is Chinese in the street fighter series. I think it would be nice if they found a Chinese lady instead of a French Canadian.
Let the haters blogging commence !!!!

Hot Hot Hot. She can be my Lois Lane anytime. Love her. I would even trade my wife in for her.
some14some
Yeah, because of that school boy on bicycle :)
plasticmonkey
She definitely looks out of place here.
OssanAmerica
OK she's hot.
