That photo is horrible. I am no great fan of her, but she usually looks better than that.

I'll try to put this as politely as possible.... She looks like she thinks its Shibuya circa 2001.

From these comments it looks as if the average JT reader is way out of Kumi Koda's league.

Looks like she fell asleep in the tanning salon, when pretty every picture of her besides is quite well done. Mind you, most of the other pics are professional, while this is a candid at a press release.

I'm curious as to how much involvement she actually had in the production of the scents. Did she just smell different variations and say, "That one!", or did she actually test out the methods of perfuming, mixing bases, notes, or whatever the three main points are called in making a new perfume?

why dyed the hair to be a fake blonde ? Should keep it natural black/dark brown. For an ageing talento, she still have decent legs.

That's a bad picture of her, but that hairstyle isn't doing anything for her unfortunately. She's in great shape though.

I think she could look pretty with the right hairstyle (i.e. not the bleached blonde look) and a better wardrobe.

This is without question the worst picture I have ever seen of the lovely Ms. Koda. I do hope I'm not in lust with the airbrushed "after" pictures, and that she really looks like this. I've been beating myself up about nothing.

I'm biased. I've never been a fan of ANYONE who bleaches their hair. Other than that, she doesn't look THAT bad. She's, what, 35? 40? Still looking good for that age if she'd let her real hair color come back.

This is just bad lighting. I've seen all of the images from this event and she looks fine.

I'll never understand why so many JapanToday users just feel the need to bash an artist. Every artist gets bashed on here - no matter who they are. Koda Kumi's a sweet, caring young woman. Just because she's famous and your not doesn't mean you need to spout negative things. She worked hard for her fame.

Looking at other pictures of the same event, she's looking hot. Especially as a new mother. I personally don't like the pinkish blond hair thing going on but if I passed her on the street in Tokyo I would stop dead in my tracks and stare for quite a bit.
