Prime Minister Naoto Kan, center, and Democratic Party Secretary General Katsuya Okada speak to the media after meeting with the party powerbroker Ichiro Ozawa at Kan's official residence in Tokyo on Monday night. Kan said he couldn't convince Ozawa to appear at a parliamentary ethics panel over a funding scandal, threatening to widen a rift in the fractious ruling party.

These guys are sojust evading the real issues. The media is worse for choosing to report on political games. The public is the worst of all for not demanding of their public servants to focus on what matters and demand that the media hold them accountable to their job descriptions.
