Actresses Yuki Shimizu, 22, left, Asuka Shibuya, 20, center, and Aya Ueto, 23, attend an event at Toyosu in Tokyo on Tuesday to promote the DVD release of "The Little Mermaid III." The three supply voices for the Japanese version of the animated film.

Yuki looks fabulous (and no one can complain the usual about "stick figures"). Aya is as always great.

they look gorgeous, but what's with those outfits? or am I to old to appreciate the young's fashion?
bamboohat
center and left look ok, fashion wise, but that girl on the right (I have absolutely no clue who these girls are) is just one piece of evidence out of many that when it comes to fashion, the japaenese march to the sound of their own medicine, not that there is anything wrong with that. I mean seriously, that outfit would have looked pretty kawaii had her pants matched her shirt (black) but, since she chose to have some kind of apples and banana's as it were, her clothes look not quite as stunning as they might've given different circumstances that haven't really had any chance of coming to fruition, ne?

The amazing thing about Japanese fashion is that it does often look strange or silly, but yet invariably appears in New York and other cities about 2 years later.

I'll just buy their smiles !
WilliB
I´d prefer them without those ridiculous outfits
Ninjazilla
I thought they did away with this cheap gawdy trash...I mean these straight to DVD sequels.

Ueto Aya is so lovely.

I agree with rjd jr.

3 girls present and no questions from the press about their love lives and when they will be getting married? Shurely shome mistake!

TeruSensei; Ueto Aya; one of my all time favorites!
Noripinhead
They tacky outfits are probably part of the Disney experience here. You can be "part of their world."

I'll take the one on the left, minus the Great Pumpkin Halloween costume.

I have figured out the photo. The beautiful lady forgot to shave her legs and these were the only pants available to cover them up. ne lol

Aya Ueto was heard to quote John Milton after this event.
WHEN I consider how my light is spent E're half my days, in this dark world and wide, And that one Talent which is death to hide, Lodg'd with me useless, though my Soul more bent To serve therewith my Maker, and present My true account, least he returning chide, Doth God exact day-labour, light deny'd, I fondly ask; But patience to prevent That murmur, soon replies, God doth not need Either man's work or his own gifts, who best Bear his milde yoak, they serve him best, his State Is Kingly. Thousands at his bidding speed And post o're Land and Ocean without rest: They also serve who only stand and waite.

If you don't know who Aya Ueto is, you need to spend more time at home in front of the tv or computer, like me. Now that's living. As for these three youngsters, Aya has some competition on her hands (not on her legs) and I can't choose between the three of them. Thus I will not discriminate and will make myself available for all of them at the same time, then repeat.

chibaman...actually, I'm with Baboohat on this one. I would prefer to have a real life, even if that means not knowing who any of these three are. Knowing all the 20-something Japanese "talentos" is not something that I particularly would brag about.
magpie
All three are fine by me.
chibaman
Oh well, each to their own, they say. Sure you may have a life and friends, but who has more posters of Aya and AKB48? I rest my case.
mechadamuramu
Are all japanese women bow legged or just the three ladies in this picture?
soldave
It's the vast majority
Wakarimasen
not bow legged at all. just standing "cutely"
norinrad21
suspicious knees
chibaman
I grow weary of these three women. Please put up three new ones.
Sarge
chibaman - Good one.
stanoue
The one in the middle has classic bow-legged stance - I HATE how they stand knock-kneed toes in. Looks like a jockey or the wicked witch of the West. My high school friends told me they stand like that to make the 'gap' between thighs look bigger (ie they think their legs look skinnier and longer....) I just think ick
Sarge
chibaman - I just saw your 2:19PM post. That's a good one, too.

You know what interesing , Yuki's dress colours are the same as my favourite soccer team , more than a concidence .
meanmutha
always remember. 99.9% pure bloodline and they gotta do or copy each other to look different or the same. Ouch.... sorry Wife.
OssanULTRA
Ha. That's really not so bad since so many j-chicks look pretty good. Imagine an entire country of fuglies with 99.9% pure bloodline. Ew.
