Hmmm... maybe 20 protesters in this pic?
Do we have a better one?

That why Japan Government doesn't care what people says, Japanese doesn't have the courage do a riot like in Baltimore, if Japanese doing that they will defenetly Abe has to resign. Govemenrt are the mirror of the people. Japanese are comfortable with Abe. If not why Abe still in the power? For choice himself he proclame himself? I don't see any riot of 40 millions of Jaoanese in the street? Like in the first comments only 20 is enough.

No one is listening....go home.

I agree. Unless Japanese have a national strike against Abe policies in particular about Article 9, which is beautiful by the way, then it will end in 2015. It is worth it for Japanese to stand up for their country. Otherwise they're going to lose it to the right wingers.

1 little sign. So sad.

More media and police than protesters.
Was Abe even there?
Probably outside playing with the free drone some guy left on his roof.

If demonstrations and protests can change the government, we don't need elections.

Dictators don't listen, sorry.
sandhonour
I'm sorry guys but you will have to do better than that. Abe won't listen with such a poor looking turnout.

Abe won't listen -- dictators never do.

Abe will not listen till the numbers outside are legion - and stopping him from getting to sleep

They could have used different colors for the placard - bright yellow text (closer to green than orange) on a blue background - it has a higher impact than black and white and increases retention. Yellow attracts attention and blue is associated with focusing. In the night scenery the text could be made reflective, to "stab" everyone in the eyes. That way no one will miss it. Too bad people don't really know the importance of colors and their subconscious meaning.

Abe go green, small is beautiful!

Maybe the person is intentionally using the paper and brush to make it traditional and serious.

Maybe the LDP won't get as many votes next election...

Let the young ones vote.

Yeah, if they had any idea what the protesting is all about. Japanese youth are very booksmart but they have no idea about what gov does. They hate politics. And they know next to nothing outside of Japan's borders.

Are w e talking Hongkong here?

It seems that majority of people don't believe/trust what the prime minister Abe said about Japan will never join the American wars (may need Japanese SDF) in Middle East, Africa, or South Asian region,,, etc. Everything seems too late to avoid war after the security bills passed in the Diet. Abe would even not feel sorry even if Japan has got involved with real war somehow.

Hongkong was brave, but will Abe means establishment JP ever notice?
