That is a lot of mediocre awards!

Best Jewelist!

Pretty dumb event(s) in these harsh times... If they ain't on TV they're on a stage. Japan you can do better after 23 of them...

When are they going to announce the "Japan Best Narcissistic No-Talent Celebrity Awards"?

I love the legs. They should be wearing toe rings, so we can give out an award for that too.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Best Jewelleriest.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

No bellybutton jewelry?

Wow so cool, yabadaba! These people looks great in Jewelry. 23rd Japan Best Jewellery Wearer Awards. Wow I want to be part of this too.

I recall a few months back JT also published the "Best Looking People is Eyeglasses Awards" Now that was really great as well!

Few more to consider adding to the list.

"Best Looking Drunk Guy on the Train Awards"

"Best Dressed Bunny Girl Awards"

"Best Gaijin who thinks they have become pure Japanese Awards"

How about having the award for the Dumbest Award.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

I hardly notice any of them wearing jewelry (except Yonekura).

Yet another pointless thing to aspire to. I swear there must be a show or award for wearing just about anything here in Japan.

Japan would do better to offer award shows for something meaningful. Like awards for people who dropped everything and went to support Tohoku. Or people who travel to Afghanistan to do aid work. Or people who fight poverty or help with issues for the elderly.

Any cute brainless idol can look good in jewelry. Hell, some dogs can pull of a jeweled collar. So why is anyone rewarding someone for something so vacuous, shallow and pointless?

Have we hit the bottom of the barrel-birdcage yet ??

Im sure the people of Tohoku will be greatly inspired and comforted to see some of their favourite actors and actresses on the award list. Will surely help them get out of the hellhole they have been pushed into.

They all sure could hold those family jewels!

Did anyone in this country, not including the 30,000+ suicide victims, not get an award this year???

Thanks for the (foreigner category) gold, since my middle finger looks so much more radiant nowadays!
