Dat Booty! besides that thought, I played volleyball in high school and sometimes going down like that on a hard floor hurts. Hope she's ok.

Great pic of Sato's save.

Somebody please beat the haughty Brazilians. Anybody...

I for one am extremely impressed with Arisa Sato's drive and determination, which is very clearly demonstrated in her efforts to dive for any ball she could.

Nobody remembers who got second.

Japan Volleyball team will never reach the power of USA, Brazil, Russia, Cuba if they don't strip off their "cuteness" factor. These 4 powerhouse teams play like horses while Japanese players train - and are defeated - like koalas.

The front crawl on a solid surface is not the most effective form of locomotion. No wonder they lost.

Nice angle

Good on Japan for putting up a good fight.

Taking naps on the job is Japanese culture, it shows how hard she worked! :P

Yeah, the title is lame. The Brasilians did a good job.

Not a cool title. She worked her butt off in the match and did a good job. She was #1 in digs and #3 in serve receive for the tournament.

Maybe she's practicing for swimming finals...

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Should have been the US in the final, since they beat Japan in the group stage. Japan only made it through because they beat weaker opponents by a stronger margin

It is rightly sponsored by Hisamitsu !
