I believe this photo says volumes.

Quebec is in Canada. Hence the maple syrup comes from Canada.

If I was corralled into eating maple taffy, I could only pray no photographers were near. Hilary is quite brave to take that task on.

And by the waymaple sirup is mostly from Quebec,not Canada.

I guess the thinking is that if they eat the taffy they won't be able to talk.
